Go feral.
Stay untameable.
Be wylde.

Feral isn't wild by accident. It's what you become on purpose, once you stop needing permission for it.

More on all of this further down, if you want the full story first.

The framework

FERAL

The way back to the wild you were born to live from. Not a ladder, a spiral: same five moves, run backward, sideways, and forward.

Backward

On a choice already made and never understood.

Sideways

On the decision sitting in front of you right now.

Forward

On the ones not yet made.

F
Feel
Raw, unmanaged
Years in a society that runs on emotional suppression mean feeling often starts as relearning how to connect to your body at all. Stop handling the feeling and let it be there first, no narrating, no fixing, no explaining it away to whoever's watching, so there's something real underneath to examine.

E
Examine
Gentle, no judgment
Examination is validation, acceptance of what surfaced, letting it exist instead of arguing it back down. What's never acknowledged can't be released, and you can't release what you never let yourself see. Soft on purpose. If this phase had teeth you'd white-knuckle past it into Release and nothing would come loose.

R
Release
Freeing, a little grief
Set down what was never yours to carry. The role, the expectation, the version somebody else needed. Comes with grief, because you're also letting go of who you were while you carried it.

A
Align
Clarifying, decisive
Match the choices to the actual person underneath them. This is where it stops being internal and starts costing something. Some things don't survive the change. That's the process working, not failing.

L
Live
Steady, self-directed, daily
Where alignment stops being internal and becomes action: do the next right thing, then do it again when it's boring and nobody noticed. Nobody is coming to validate this. That isn't the bad news, that's the entire point.

Nobody graduates. FERAL is the process you run again every time you drift, and it walks you back.

How do you know if this is for you?

If you are a human…

The only certainty is uncertainty. Peace isn't found by getting rid of it. It's built by knowing you've got the tools to meet it.

"I lost myself. Found myself. Then lost nearly everything that came with finding it. I'm still in it, still rebuilding. That's exactly why I can sit with you in yours."

Where This Came From

I built FERAL on my own life first. I don't trust a framework I haven't tested on the person handing it to you, and most of it got worked out between bedtime and the next crisis, not in a workshop. I'm nonbinary, raising four kids on my own, and I built this because I got tired of waiting for uncertainty to just stop.

Dormant, not broken

I didn't wake up one day and decide to leave my life. Most days, I still haven't. Parts of me went quiet instead, one at a time, because whatever was in front of me needed a version of me that could hold it. Not broken. Not lost. Dormant.

Feral is what happens on the other side of that noticing.

Some of it really was leaving. Mostly it wasn't. It was staying in the exact same life and finally showing up in it as myself instead of whoever the day required. That's the harder job, and it's the one most people are actually signed up for. The one keeping the peace. The one running on nothing. The one performing for approval. None of those versions of me were wrong. They were what each season required.

Refusing the shape

Bodies change the terms without asking. Mine did, when Lupus showed up and didn't bother checking my calendar first. People leave. News lands on an ordinary Tuesday and rearranges everything. There's no version of being a person where that stops. What you actually get to decide is who you are while it's happening. Nobody gets to tell you what this looks like on you. The point was never a particular shape. It's refusing the one somebody else handed you. So I did. I'm still doing it.
